Job Overview
As Associate Medical Writer at [‘mediPr] you are a team player, customer focused and have a strong sense of responsibility. You will take on different writing and editing jobs for the company in both Traditional Chinese and English to deliver projects in a timely manner under the highest industry standards. Applicants with prior medical writing experience may be considered for a Medical Writer position.
Responsibilities and Duties
- You deliver medical writing and editing for a variety of marketing materials consistently meeting client expectations;
- You will research and comprehend different therapeutic areas;
- You are able to tailor your writing to different audiences, including healthcare professionals and the lay person;
- You will attend scientific symposia, conferences, and other client meetings;
- You will conduct interviews with Healthcare Professionals in English and Cantonese;
- You take ownership of delivering the highest quality of writing and editing jobs;
- You proactively engage in projects and help assure that the deliverables are met within timelines while meeting the highest standards.
Qualifications
You hold at minimum a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in a life sciences subject. Fresh graduates will be considered. Candidates will be asked to do a writing assessment in both English and Traditional Chinese.

The ideal candidate:
- Is a team player, pro-active, self-motivated, and punctual with customer-focused attitude, problem-solving mentality, keen attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility;
- Has a sense of curiosity with a broad understanding of medical science and the flexibility to write about different therapeutic areas;
- Has the ability to translate complex science into clear and concise messages;
- Has excellent skills in using MS Office package and Windows;
- Is a permanent resident in Hong Kong, and fluent in written Traditional Chinese and English as well as spoken Cantonese and English.
Reporting Line
The successful incumbent will report to the Lead Medical Writer of ['mediPr]. Candidates who do not hear back from Company within 2 weeks after submitting their CV and application letter may consider their application to be unsuccessful.
