Summer Internship - Medical Writing

About the Company: [‘mediPr] is a young medical communications agency, providing services to pharmaceutical companies, clinics, and other medical organisations. Our office is close to APM in Kwun Tong. To allow students to get acquainted with the world of medical communications, we are now offering a Summer Intern position for a motivated, curious life sciences student with fluency in English and Traditional Chinese.

Reports To: The successful incumbent will report to the Medical Writing Lead.

Job Overview: As a Summer Intern at [‘mediPr] you will take on different writing projects for the company in English and Traditional Chinese and work closely with the Project Managers to deliver in a timely manner.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support referencing of documents
• Write scientific content
• Ad hoc duties as required
• Support meetings and events

Qualifications:

You should be enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree or higher with a concentration in the life sciences.  

Personal Characteristics and Skills Required:

• Interested in the medical communications industry and/or pharmaceutical industry
• Sense of curiosity with a broad understanding of medical science and the flexibility to write about different therapeutic areas (cardiovascular, infectious disease, oncology, etc) with a focus on patient-doctor interaction (applied sciences)
• Flexible, curious, eager to learn, likes to read with an attention to detail and accurate writing
• Preferable: HTML/Wordpress skills
• You must have excellent skills in using MS Office package and Windows;
• Candidates must be a permanent resident in Hong Kong, with fluency in English (written and spoken)
